A RENOWNED family business is expanding its brand for the third time in five years by launching its latest venture in the digital world.
Coldstar Systems, a web design and development agency, has been established by local designer and software developer Dane Marshall.
It is the latest addition to the Coldstar company group, which includes flagship business Coldstar Refrigeration and Coldstar Electrical, both founded by local businessman and Dane’s brother, Jay Burton.
Dane, who has 10 years industry experience and has worked with both small businesses and large, worldwide organisations, said: “This has been in the pipeline for over two and a half years now. We’ve been
discussing branching off into this sector as it’s something we’ve always wanted to do, and the backing of Coldstar has given me the ability to do it.
Jay is a good lad. We’ve had many, many conversations about this and he obviously believes we can do it because he has invested a lot of money into the business. He has a lot of experience in building businesses from the ground up, so with his guidance and knowledge of business, Coldstar Systems will follow in the footsteps of Coldstar Refrigeration and Electrical.
The business, which is based in e-factor’s Enterprise Village, Grimsby, will provide web design and development, software development, e-commerce and
e-learning services. Work is nearly complete on the Coldstar Systems website, and plans are in place for the initial stages of growth.
Dane said: “Once the website has launched, we are going to target all of our social media, start blogging, and begin to build the client base. We know it’s going to be a slow, steady process, we are not expecting success overnight because we are in it for the long term.
The plans are to grow the business steadily, find some fantastic clients and to work with other creatives. There are loads of aspects to the business that we’re in, content, graphics, video, a whole wide range of things, so we will be working closely with local businesses to provide the best possible solutions.
